Frequently Asked Questions
What should I do while I wait for Pest Specialists to arrive if there’s an animal in my home?
If an animal has found its way into your home and doesn’t seem to be causing significant damage, the best practice is to trap it in a room and place towels or other objects under the cracks in the door to prevent it from escaping. Once Georgia PAWS arrives, we can safely remove the animal and then inspect the home for possible signs of where more animals could enter.
Do you kill the animals in order to remove them?
When removing pests from a site, we work to safely trap them and then release them further away in a safer location for both the animal and the homeowner. We understand that wildlife can be scary for a property, but work hard not to harm the animals while removing them.
How do I prevent the animals from returning?
For humane solutions to keep animals away it’s important to call pest control experts who have experience with a wide variety of animals. Part of our services here at Georgia PAWS include full exclusion services to prevent animals from entering the property again. After removing animals, we fully inspect the property to find points of entry for wildlife and then develop solutions to close these entry points and protect your home from further wildlife intrusions.
What types of wildlife do you remove?
We offer trapping and removal services for a wide variety of animals such as bats, squirrels, opossums, raccoons, rats, although we do not offer services for pests such as bees and ants. If you have any questions about how our experts can help you with a wildlife problem, please don’t hesitate to contact us!
